And Finaly An Update (With Pictures!)
Haven't been feeling great this month, ticcing a lot, bad migranes, shoulder injury, the works, so that's why I've been so quiet. And the same things that have kept me from keeping you guys updated here, have also kept me stuck in bed and unable to work on the house. So when I did go over three days ago, it was the first time I'd been in about two weeks or more, and the first time I'd been over since they tore the walls down upstairs. So quite a lot of progress going on.
I have a total of 13 pics curently up in my (shiney new) Remodeling Album on Picasa. I thought I'd just share a few highlights with you here.
First up is a fun, older pic of Joe the day he took the stairs out of my area, officaly dissconnected the upper and lower sections of the house:
Then we have a quick tour of my appartment as it stood three days ago:

The upstairs as it looked three days ago. Looking at the lines in the floor where the old house ends and the new addition starts, it really strikes you how small our house actualy was. It had a bunch of bedrooms and three bathrooms, but it was still smaller in square footage then any other house any member of our family lives in.

And finaly, just something really cool and the actual reason that I went over to the house three days ago. Donna made this for me:
The Full View Of The Mosaic Donna Did In The Threshold From The Outter Hallway Into My Kitchen. She Did This Freehand, And It Does Not Have Grout In It In This Pic.

Is that not awesome? I had to go over and thank her personaly before she left after doing that. It now has grout it in, so next time I go back, I'll take an updated picture of it now.
When I sent this album to the family last night, I gave the estimation that the appartment was a little past the halfway point. According to Mom this morning, that estimation is waaay off. They're putting the sealer on the tile, that'll have to sit for 48hours untouched, and after that mom'll finish Mudding the walls, which once that's done, I finaly get to finish painting!
Basicly this means my appartment is about...two weeks from being officaly done? As a standing estimate...and that's if I take my time and paint the cubbords, and move back in, too.
Yah. Fast.
