Melbourne!
This LJ entry is way overdue. I’m sorry I haven’t been keeping up with writing and reading everyone’s LJs, but I’m still trying to settle into my new life in Melbourne. Firstly, I would like to thank Flute and JC for being my lovely hosts. They’ve put a roof over my head and food on the table for the pass three weeks and goodness knows what park bench I would have ended up on if it weren’t for them.
The good news is that I’ve finally found a place and I’ll be moving in this Saturday. It’s only a little shoebox place in Richmond, but I think I’ll be happy staying there for the next twelve months. The place comes unfurnished, so I’m currently putting my energy towards finding bargain (but still decent quality) furniture. Flute got me hooked on EBay, so I’ll probably end up buying most of my bits and pieces from there…hehe.
Work at the office has been extremely slow. The CEOs haven’t been able to decide on where they want to the project so that leaves me with essentially nothing to do for the pass two weeks. Not that you will catch me complaining very loudly. Since I’ve been given my own office, I’m currently being paid to read Harry Potter and watch DVDs on my computer (at the moment, I'm reading HP: GOF and watching season one of 24).
