Yesterday I got to meet the lovely missy42. She showed me around downtown Culver City, which I didn't know before, but it used to be the headquarters of MGM. Sony Pictures is there now. So I saw the historic hotel in which the munchkins of Wizard of Oz stayed at. Incidently, missy42 is also a fantastic crocheter (I think that's a word) and ( Read more... )

OMG those are so CUTE!!! It looks like Penny's got a new friend!

Yes, I believe "crocheter" is the right term. I dunno, I've only been doing this for a few months myself! Gave mom her shawl, she really likes it. Haven't finished Dad's iPod holder yet. It'll probably get done this week, though. I know it's small, but so's the yarn, and I'm kinda as I go, so it's a wee bit complicated. Anyway, Crochet Me Magazine is that link I showed you with the amigurumi stuffed animals that you were so keen on. You'll have to post pictures of those if you ever make them.

Anyway, I had a wonderful time meeting you! And btw, you for all the stuff we did yesterday! Next time, you gotta show me around Cerritos.

oooh I would love to make an anigurimi stuffed animal. Hmmm, I have a friend's birthday coming up soon. Perhaps I'll give it a whirl. I actually have one that I bought from the comicbook store of Kero from the anime Card Captor Sakura which is really adorable.

And yes, you definitely have to come visit me in Cerritos next time! Maybe I'll take you out for some Korean food ^^

Hum. Somehow, that bit managed to get left out. Weird.

Anyway, I'd love to try Korean food. I think I've had it before, but it was more "hey, this place looks good" and not so much "Hey, let's have Korean food!" So it could have been any number of things.
