Pain...

Apr 28, 2008 12:32

Was at physio this morning. And by morning, I mean 9:00am. Was not very impressed with this.

Even less impressive were the exercises that Tony made me do. Oh my god, OW.
This is what happens when the idiot physio's tell you to get on a Reebok Step, and put all your weight on your operated-on knee, and climb up:

Pain. Masses of pain, shooting straight up through your kneecap, and making you walk funny afterwards. Can not be good for your health, no matter what they tell you.

Idiots.

On a better note, I handled the bike really, really well...getting faster on that! Now I just have to pluck up the courage to get on my real bike and try it. Not too fast to begin with, but being able to ride it without the feeling that I'm about to fall off it would be nice. I miss my shinee bike!

Looks like that'll have to wait till after the 15th May; got a Phonetics and Phonology oral exam that I am not looking forward to one single bit! Gotta revise, methinks. Might fail, methinks.

So, let's write us a little list of what's left to do before I can relax for the summer (by 'summer', I mean term, not season, 'cause all we will have is rain...again):

  • 1,000 word Reading as a Writer Essay (8th May) DONE DONE DONE!!!
  • 2,000 word Frankenstein Essay,
  • 2,000 word Renaissance Female Autobiography Essay,
  • 2,000 word Phonetics and Phonology Essay,
and last, but by no means least:

  • Phonetics and Phonology Oral Exam (15th May).
Also, I have no idea when the other 3 essays are due in, because the Assessment Board hasn't deemed it important enough to inform me of yet. Oh well. Gonna work on them anyway; do not want to find out a week before they're due and have to rush them.

Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised. Must be organised.

Yes, it is my new mantra. If I say it enough, it WILL work. *meep*
