Day One -- My Little Slice of Narcissism
Well...I guess I should start with the basics...

Is it wrong to wish that the hurricane hit a different state? ...don't get me wrong, I'm not a monster. I'm just sayin'...God should think these things through. I mean...Kansas is sparsely populated ...not to mention completely useless.

I just received a promotion at work. I was offered the position of Lead. It wasn't the promotion that I originally wanted ...ie...Trainer. Apparently, there won't be any new training positions opened until around February of next year. Oh well...any promotion = more m$$lah.

I just came back from my *second* vacation. I visited family in Ohio. Let me issue a warning to any future travelers...Ohio does not offer a wide variety of entertainment possibilities. Let me put it this way...my sister didn't even know what *take-out* food was. I was staying in Upper Sandusky...let us never speak of it. .

I just finished the book "Meg." This book illustrated one very simple fact...I will read anything if there is a picture of a huge shark on the cover. I am also wrapping up Tori Amos' autobiography "Tori Amos - Piece by Piece." Actually, I don't think that it is technically considered an autobiography. Ann Powers
co-authored it. Either way...Tori really abused the word "archetype."

I'm in love with Dean Cain. ...just don't ask me to justify it. This love is a recent development. I plan to seek psychological help. ...or possibly a priest if necessary. ...I hear that exorcisms are still popular.
