Good news: My telly alter ego has a job. BBC Wales want me back for a new series of something vaguely related to
The Restaurant. As I am almost out of overdraft and climbing the walls with frustration I took it. 11 weeks of telly. Not entirely sure this is a good plan but we will see.
Ironically, the same day I also got an email from the NHS offering me an interview for a Medical Clerk's job I'd applied for in sheer desperation. And an offer to do a website for a friend's brother's business. Where were all these over the last three months??
More good news: My mum and step-dad exchanged house contracts yesterday and offically move to Wales on the 24th, we are all very excited about this. Possibly me more than them because now I have a dog sitter! And access to yummy Sunday lunches and BBQs that would previously have taken 200 miles to get to. Croeso i Gymru indeed!
Bad news: The wolf has finally broken me. He pulled me over whilst on his extend-a-lead and I have either torn or pulled the muscles in my right shoulder. This is the shoulder I damaged whilst in New Zealand a few years back and never fully recovered from despite months of physio with a guy who shaved his legs (irrelevant information but it amused me, he was a cyclist by the way). As I can't raise my arm to shoulder height this is a problem, I had to get my neighbour over yesterday to help me get my washing off the line!
Good news: Almost all affects of the natural gas poisoning I was suffering from have now gone. Within a day of the gas leak being found and fixed I was feeling so much better (read: awake). Unfortunately, the hospital still want to continue with the tests and 24 hour monitoring they'd requested due to a pre-existing condition. This has made my new boss very nervous and I think she's now wondering if I'll keel over dead at the drop of a hat! Suffice to say, apart from the shoulder I am in tip top condition.
WOLF ATE: He's still chomping on the remains of my summer shoes
WEATHER: The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray!
