[RL WITH SULU]

Ianto sat at Jack's bedside, with a mobile in hand, much like he had earlier with his call to the Doctor. Only, instead of calling for help this time, he really just wanted to call to have someone to talk to. He was going to drive himself mad, just him and Jack's unconscious, trance-like form in the bed in front of him, with only his thoughts to keep him company. He was slowly spiraling down a path he really didn't want to follow, and with Gwen out with Rhys trying to figure out what was going on and the Doctor was out doing, well, whatever it was that the Doctor was doing investigating what was going on, which left Ianto to sit by the bedside and worry.

He flipped the phone open for what had to be the fifth time in the last half an hour, and looked at the number he kept almost dialing again and again. Oh, the hell with it. He had absolutely no idea what time of day it was over there--he had really lost track of what time it was in Cardiff, let alone what time it would be in, well, whatever time it was that the Enterprise ran on.

Sighing, and turning his gaze over to Jack's face, looking at Jack's glassy blue eyes staring up at nothing, the man's face eerily still and slack considering how lively he seemed to be, even asleep, Ianto pushed the call button, and held the phone up to his ear. Next time something starts eating at you, realize you can talk to me about it without me prompting, all right? That's sort of what friends are for. At least, those had been Sulu's words the last time he'd withheld it all and tried to handle it all by himself. So, he'd try talking this time. Maybe that would make it all a bit more manageable.

the dead line, sulu
