Summary: Jack’s been around a long time and a lot of years, and 'normal' is one of those things, like fashions and political enemies, that seems forever to be changing - for someone like him (and that’s a silly, inappropriate phrase, of course, because there is no one quite like Jack), it’s a surprising, unusual thing to find oneself suddenly a part of it all.
Why you should read it: A lovely collection of moments, more or less in chronological order. This the the writer's first Torchwood fic and well worth the time to read (and encourage more)! The last vignette is lovely, with Jack and Ianto still making their progress towards each other.
