Why you should read it: electro_club is upfront with the fact that English isn't her first language, but don't let that deter you from her writing. Her unusual perspective on the language both works wonderfully for Jack's perspective, a little bit other, and little bit different, and for the melancholy, meandering exploration that is this fic. Her turns of phrase are often just that little bit different, and for me, that made me slow down and read more closely, and catch the little delicacies of description and characterization I might otherwise miss. A gentle but realistic exploration of Jack and Ianto's relationship post-series two, After All both made me think and left me delighted.
