A general update
So. I haven't been doing much online lately because, well, I have been very busy IRL.
Firstly, I've been spending a lot of time hanging out with dogsoul and watching TV, drawing, hanging out and introducing him to downtown Grand Haven. Points of interest have been Jumpin' Java, The Creative Fringe, Must Love Dogs, Great Harvest Bread Company, Michigan Rag and Fortino's. We've eaten at The Kirby House and Pronto Pups and perused a few other shops as well on our tour, but a few tend to get visited more than others. He's also been going through some crap and I'm trying to be a fairly stable shoulder to lean on.
The other thing taking much of my time has been helping my friend David Takitaki with his campaign for the 92nd district of Michigan's house seat. On top of offering some physical labor and donating items, I've also been charged with most of his printed materials. I had some ideas, but as Christen came up with a lay-out for the website, I then utilized many of her elements to keep continuity with the rest of the items:

So, even though I'm still unemployed, I'm not sitting home alone sleeping all day... I am active. Unfortunately, I haven't put pencil to paper in a while, but it doesn't mean my creative side has been dormant... just... redirected.
