Bruce Timm "Cameo" in Batman: The Brave and the Bold" ep. 209
Okay, once again "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" has shown how awesome it is.
The episode "Super-Batman of Planet X" (Episode 209) not only re-unites some familiar voices... namely, Kevin Conroy as the planet's own "Batman", as well as the Bruce Timm voice actor of Lex Luthor, Lois Lane and Clark Kent/Super Man, but also uses BRUCE TIMM ANIMATION! Seriously! "B:BatB Batman" has a cleff chin and beside him is the "B:tAS" batman with the Bruce Timm face. Even the people of the planet have the Bruce Timm style. The episode itself isn't all that great (Batman finds himself on another planet where he gains powers akin to Superman), but as fan-service to Bruce Timm fans, this was pretty sweet to watch. :)
Also (episode 46 of Ben 10: Alien Force), Ben 10's Omnitrix self-destruct code is "zero zero zero destruct zero" ... a nice Star Trek: TNG reference. :)
It's nice to see animators giving homage to the things they admired or drew inspiration from years before. :) It's sad that I recognize them... I must be old to get 1993 references. *laughs*
