December 10

I spent most of last night hanging out with Kyle, drawing, watching Firefly and eating cheeseburgers.
Driving there was a simple act, but driving back was just a few simple rolls that I easily succeeded at. I wasn't sure if I wanted to gamble with "the blizzard" they were forecasting, and I knew that North of Muskegon was hellish earlier in the day, but US31 was pretty clear on the drive up.

Last time I was at Kyle's, I had done a sketch of my new (to be) weretiger "Chad" fighting with his character "Zane". When I got up there last night, it was almost done being inked and the then began the coloring. Kyle was floored at how good Chad came out, and Zane turned out amazing too. I will be scanning and posting that later.

Today is my birthday. It's also a snow day. There is an unwritten (but orally enforced) policy that days that Grand Haven Public Schools are closed for snow, we get food. Yesterday we got pizza. I'm not a fan of Mario's Pizza in town, but I think that's because whenever I've had it, it's been just pepperoni. Yesterday I got to have many toppings on it, and so it actually tasted pretty good. Anyways, so while we may have gone out for my birthday anyways, today we're having food brought in. It sounds like they might be running out and returning with Ray's burgers. That should be alright--tomorrow is Bob's birthday, so maybe we'll do JW's or something too.

Also, I've started moving my files and redirected my domains to a free accoutn at GoDaddy.com. www.torakhan.com leads there at the moment. Soon www.arthurdreese.com will as well. What exactly I will do with them is kind of up in the air--what I had before was hideously oudated and more of a cluster of crap. I may break down and put $5/month into my budget and het the full hosting (without a banner!) too. I think I can swing that. Plus I'm pretty sure GoDaddy.com won't be disappearing anytime soon.

By the way, anyone interested in www.craicstuff.com domain name?

Anyways, new scans of artwork coming soon. No solid plans for the weekend yet, but I may be going back to Kyle's for some drawing on Friday or Saturday. We'll see.
