FurNation is gone ... again!
Well, again, FurNation is dead. Nexxus gave it up months ago, and through the grace of a few others, they managed to keep it afloat through donations and their own contributions.
Unfortunately FA's being down probably overwhelmed their servers, and rather than giving up the extraneous bullshit of their web site (image gallery, forums, email, etc.), they have decided to just close up shop. I'm guessing their service told them they were about to pay for high-traffic bills and they said "shut it down!" to keep from paying several thousand dollars in fees and whatnot. I don't blame them... but I wish I had an opportunity to keep my web site hosting there. I have so many links out on the internet for the http://www.furnation.com/torakhan/... link that .. well, it makes me a little sad to know that they're dead links now. *sighs*
So now I'm looking at what GoDaddy and Dotster have for free with my accounts with them.
This is a good excuse to redesign my web site and figure out what I really want to do with it, but, in the meantime, all of that is lost (good thing I'd backed most of it up, but I wish I'd have been given notice to make sure I had everything.)
