Just another reason why I'm getting less and less of my news from CNN these days:

Campbell Brown (who's show's tagline is "No Bias No Bull") has apparently taken what someone said about a person having no family and no life, therefore could work their job 19-20 hours a day as a sexist remark.

"Janet's perfect for that job. Because for that job, you have to have no life. Janet has no family. Perfect. She can devote, literally, 19-20 hours a day to it."

The remark was not about gender, but rather something that anyone of any gender who is single could or has had experience with when they've found themselves delegated to working holidays/weekends or the likes rather than their married or family-oriented fellow workers.

Most folks seem to be similarly minded to me that she's jumped on the wrong bandwagon, but it's even more funny that her tag line is "No Bias, No Bull", when this assinine comment is nothing but.  All of her "comments" on this are just.. retarded.  She's taken this way out of bounds and trying to make a big deal out of it.

I'm thinking I'm just going to go to BBC and PBS for my news from now on.  I'm just sick of this "hyping" and "commentary = news" crap with ALL of the mainstream news outlets.

campbell brown, news, bull, cnn
