GenCon Indy 2008 is around the corner...

GenCon 2008 is not very far away at all!  I'll be volunteering with Exhibitor Services from Tuesday thru Sunday.

<--I have reformated the original files for better viewing...
The original .PDF can be found here.
The original .XLS list of exhibitors is here.

A tentative lay-out of the GenCon Indy exhibit hall gives us some idea of what to expect not only of GenCon this year, but perhaps of the future of the convention itself.

Red numbers are purchased booths.  Blue numbers are (apparently) available booths (as of the time of this map's making.)  The art show is sold out.  However, know that locations are often a bit fluid and companies do tend to move around, even after things are "finalized" (Ohhh, Bob's Comix didn't show up.. can I have their corner booth?)

The cyan (light blue) area over there is the Electronic Gaming area.  Most of this area last year was not used and had curtains in the back, while trailer of some sort occupied some of it as well.   I've heard GenCon has been trying to get that part of the "gaming" market as part of its fair for a few years.  I wonder if they've over-reserved the spaces again.  Also, the Yellow areas are reduced lighting and noisy because of the audio from the computer games.

Booth #2035 is Diana Stein and Heather Bruton --just about (if not exactly) where they were last year and kiddie-corner from the Quiet Zone.)
