yoshiko_39 for giving me the title. I wrote this in less than an hour and this is unbeta'd, so... gomen*bows* This might be my last fic that won't be friendslocked. So if you wanna read more, add this account^^

Toshiya and I have been together for two longs years now. Two long years full of ups and downs. Ups and downs full of his pouts. Yes, pouts, Toshiya’s pouts.

For seven-hundred thirty and a half days, he had never failed to give me that pout on his lips, no matter what situation we’re in.

---

I remember taking him to shopping. Being the brat that he was, I took the courtesy of carrying the shopping bags without him asking me to. Back then, I was thinking about not having his pout even just for a day, I was curious. I started to slow down after having too much bags to handle with just two hands, so, I simply trailed behind him. Just when we were about to go home, he turned his back to face me, eying the shopping bags. He must have realized how much money he spent and regretted buying lots of stuff. Then...

Pout.

“What now?” I asked worriedly, ignoring the smile that had been dying to creep up my face the very moment the pout appeared on his lips.

Still with a pout on his lips, he walked over to me and circled his arms around one of mine. “I’ve been so selfish.” Pout. “Look at you.” Pout. “You’ve been carrying all this stuff for me without asking for something in return. I’m sorry, you must be tired.”

“It’s okay.” I gave him my sweetest smile, that’s the best I could do in my current position.

“Really?” He seemed to brighten up.

I nodded.

“Really really?”

I nodded again, now with a smile, thinking how thoughtful he could be at times.

“Then, before we go home, let’s go to the cosmetics store, to the jewelry store and to the perfume store!”

My jaw literally dropped but he didn’t see it for he was already on his way to the cosmetics shop.

---

Another thing that I had kept in my mind was when we had an argument about a pet. I wanted a dog but he wanted a cat.

“A dog would be more useful. If we’re away, someone can watch over our house.” I reasoned out, trying to persuade him.

Pout.

Back then and there, I officially lost.

“Okay, okay.” I waved my hands in the air as I headed to our bedroom. “A cat it is.”

Minutes later, I felt him snuggling closer to me. I must have fallen asleep, I didn’t notice when he came in. I opened my eyes and was greeted by a pouting Toshiya.

“Are you mad at me?” He asked quite sadly.

How sweet. I brought my hands on his hair to play with the silky strands as I shook my head.

“Really?”

I nodded.

“Really really?”

I nodded again.

“Oh, I changed my mind. I want a bunny!”

Again, my jaw dropped, but this time he saw it. I gained back my composure as he started giggling.

“I was just joking.” He said nuzzling onto my neck. I felt his half-smiling half-pouting plush lips on my skin.

---

I stretched on the bed, which was oddly occupied by me alone. Finally, I got up, deciding to look for the missing Toshiya.

I headed to the bathroom.

No Toshiya.

I headed to the living room.

No Toshiya.

I started to get worried.

I headed to the kitchen.

There he was, wearing a pink apron, his face covered with flour, rolling pin on his hands.

Pout.

“Why are you up already?” His pout got deeper.

I smiled, not knowing what to say, and walked up to him just to give him a tight hug.  “Happy second anniversary!” I whispered.

He pouted again. “I’m supposed to say that fir-!” He tried to argue but I silenced him with a kiss. Much to my astonishment, he pouted in the kiss.

I knew it by now, that pouting is like breathing to him. Ironically, I never grew tired of it even for a second. Those pouty lips must have some magic which I haven’t explored, at least not yet.
