It was a great day today, the weather was beautiful and my morning swim felt awesome. We will be going to Spain for a couple of months just before Christmas. We will still catch the Christmas markets in Zagreb, Split and possibly Dubrovnik but we will be doing Christmas proper in Spain, which will be as sunny and warm as it gets in mainland Europe in January (around 17C / 63F where we will spend most of our time), so that's great. Helga and I went out for dinner at the restaurant at the end of our street. On our way back Helga stopped in front of this small shop (it was closed) for some window shopping. Olives are still in season here and I eat them raw. They are a little bit bitter but I like that. My tongue is completely black though and the black shit does not come off easily. I do not know how quickly it will return to normal after I stop eating raw olives. For now I know that 24 hours is not enough for the tongue to clean itself even a little ( Read more... )
