Have we talked about this before? Or have I blogged about it? I'd check, but my blog is dead. Bleag is dod. 9-1-1 is a jOkE! Flavor Flav had it right all along. I used to think that song was lame until I tried 9-1-1 and got no response. Like three times I've used it and always no response. Ridiculous!

Ambulance rides, btw, run about $500-1,000. A good idea if you ever need to go to the hospital, but can't drive, but aren't going to die in the meantime, is to call a cab..

If you're dialing from a cell phone you should use the local police or fire dept number - add it to your phone book. That's what the fireman who taught my CPR class said, anyway. You'll get faster response.
