Good lord, it's warm in my apartment.

We got new phones today at work.. or at least, had the option to. I jumped and got a slider Samsung.. it's pretty cool.. but I'm definitely not used to it yet. I'm worried that I like my old one better still (I did have to pay a little out of pocket for this one) .. but hopefully I'll get past that. It's got touch sensitive keys for the menu and stuff, which is reallly weird and tough to get the hang of.

blah

So 2am. I've developed a disease that will not allow me to go to bed before 3 or 4 in the morning. I'm sure I *could* sleep if I tried.. but I can't make myself get into bed.

Even though I'm really bored.

And it's too hot.

And I'm hungry but nothing appeals.

blahh

I was hilariously late for work today. All weekend I had my schedule from this week in my head. I could visualize myself looking at the schedule board and writing it in my planner, etc. After I finished on Friday, I had a sweet three day weekend and didn't start until 4:30 on Tuesday. So last night Jer and I stayed up watching movies and stuff until way late, then went to bed to sleep forever (well not *forever*. I don't mean *death*). This morning I woke up to the end of my phone ringing. I went to dig it out and it was Ann but I had already missed it. Then I noticed there was a little text envelope... it was from one of my coworkers and said "Do you work today?" to which I replied "Yeah, at 4:30." and went back to lie down. I heard the reply beep and almost didn't look... but then I started to get worried... I got the feeling like when you accidentally set the alarm to pm... He had messaged me back, "You work at 10 today." The time? 11:08. THE WORST THING!! That is my *biggest* fear... so I had to jump out of my skin, get up, go back to my place, get ready, then drive in to Burlington... I got there just before 12... and there had only been one person in the store all morning. Needless to say, he ran for the bathroom as soon as I walked through the doors. The good news? My boss wasn't there.. and.. we didn't tell him. Maybe word spread after I left, but.. whatever.

It's so fleepilly hot.

I'm reading Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson now. It's pretty good. He's so very unbiased in any direction. I kind of expected him to be on their side, but he's pointing out the flaws of the Angels and the press/police/public completely equally. It's a good time. Not a fast read - a lot of information and statistics - but definitely interesting.

Man. It really is like a bayou. I'm almost expecting to wake up with a thousand mosquito bites, and a weird bikini tan.

And the show!

My improv team made it to the finals of a competition. We're performing at the Bad Dog Theatre on March 25th. Be there, or *DON'T BE A CIRCLE!*.
I'm pretty excited. I don't really expect us to win, because we're up against some amazing amazing amazing performers who have studied with the actual improv greats. The ones from New York and Chicago. The ones who work with people on SNL and MadTV. Oh man. Yes. It will be a magical evening.

Magical.

IF

I don't die of heat poisoning.

Also, Willie Nelson is on the Colbert Report right now and it is awesome.

Anyway, my fingers are melting off as we speak so I have to go. I wish there wass a knobb on n my furnacccce
