...Not very much, actually. But if everyone here is telling the truth about who they are and when they're from, then time apparently is working very strangely.

Yes, very strangely indeed. It seems this place and the people who run it have a hobby of collecting people from different places and times, though for what purpose I cannot say. Many people are looking for a way home, and in the meantime we are expected to play house with strangers.
