Writing in 2011
Today I worked on a Merlin kink meme fic and now have over 700 words. It's the first time I've ever tempted to write a fic in the Merlin fandom so I'm very nervous and scared about it. It's a Arthur/Merlin fic as well which I think is also awesome since I do like the pairing. I hope to have it finish soon and post it over at kinkme_merlin anonymously for now.
I do want to do the idea I have for a Doctor Who fic set in the future with WW2 elements. Firstly though I want to read some books about the war and the RAF in particular so I have a sense about what it was like. I plan to have Captain Jack Harkness there as the leader of the squadron and Amy and Rory still the Doctor's companions since I want to write the Eleventh Doctor because I love him so much and Jack hasn't met him yet. It also means that Jack will be a future version of himself but still immortal and possibly a changed man. I have no idea of the time period in which it will be set.
I might do it as atardis_bigbang entry but I'm yet to decide since I have to find out when the next round is.
