Flist I Need Your Help

At the moment I've been getting back into reading books and right now reading The Fry Chronicles by Stephen Fry. It's the second part of his autobiography following on from Moab is my Washpot which was about his childhood. I've also been looking around for books to buy but always come up empty.

So I'm asking for recommendations of books you think I might like to read. I'm usually into anything, except romance novels. If you could, it would be very helpful.
