Doctor Who: The Lodger

Jun 28, 2010 20:03

Here are my thoughts on The Lodger:

1. It was strange at the beginning how the Tardis went off with Amy, leaving the Doctor behind.

2. The creepy man living upstairs was very cliche I think but still brilliant.

3. I spotted an ad for the Vincent Van Gogh exhibition on Craig's fridge. I thought it would be worth mentioning.

4. James Cordin was brilliant and funny as Craig. He just took everything as he saw it.

5. The Doctor as a flatmate would be be fun, since he so alien, trustworthy, a good cook and doesn't really get in the way. I love how he tried to be human but failed.

6. I love the earpiece the Doctor used to communicate with Amy. How it scrambles the conversation to sound like he is talking gibberish to others.

7. I love it when the Doctor tries to save Craig in only a towel and holding a tooth brush.

8. The Doctor playing soccer/football was awesome and it looked like he really was having a good time.

9. It was creepy that the creature morphed into a small child to lure people.

10. I love the contraption that the Doctor builds in his room. It was very unusual.

11. It was sweet when the Doctor looks after Craig and going off to fill in for him at the call centre.

12. I love how the Doctor shows Craig who he is and what the situation is. I like that it was revealed that Amy showed him what house to go to. All I know is that they might end up with a severe headache.

13. I love it when they are hurrying Craig and Sophie along to kiss. I like that they finally told each other how they felt

14. I like that upstairs turned out to be a spaceship and was disguising itself with a perception filter.

15. I like that Craig wants the Doctor to keep the keys to the flat, even though he knows the Doctor won't come back.

16. It was surprising when Amy found the engagement ring, now really want to know what happens.
