When Matt Smith went on The Chris Moyles show.
On Wednesday Matt Smith was on the Chris Moyles show, the breakfast show on BBC Radio 1. So yeah I thought I would share some of my favourite bits from the chat/interview. If you're familiar with Chris Moyles then you know that it's never a normal interview.
So the interview started with Matt Smith of course entering the studio and well normally they put a picture of the person on one of their computers. It sounded like that they had accidentally put David Tennant's picture up instead. This revealed that Matt refers to him as Dave instead of David. This lead to Chris Moyles to ask about someone else:
Chris: So what do you call John Barrowman? J?
Matt: Yeah J, J Dog
Chris: J Dog...
Matt: I don't know, I haven't seen John in awhile
After talking about football, America and some Doctor Who stuff. This idea came up for the Christmas Special
Dave: I imagine a dalek with baubles hanging off it
Matt: Sure...Ok
Dave: Do you think it will be brilliant for a Doctor Who Christmas...
Chris: (In Dalek voice) MERRY CHRISTMAS! HO! HO! HO!
Dave: Or decorate it with a fairy on top and everything
Matt: But how would it put it on?
Dave: I don't know
Then Chris decided to talk more about the New Daleks:
Chris: The daleks came up recently, they were all different colours
Matt: Yeah I know
Chris: They were kind of like, I don't know if this was the idea, they were kind of like the the Village People of daleks
Matt: *laughs*
Chris: (in dalek voice) SCIENTIST! FIREMAN! CONSTRUCTION WORKER! It was like that
Matt: oh no, yes the village people of Daleks
Chris: (Singing in dalek voice) YOU CAN GET YOURSELF CLEAN! YOU CAN HAVE A GOOD MEAL! YMCA. Though it wouldn't be Y since they can't do the Y.
Dave: Oh yeah
Chris: They can only do Is
Dave: yeah, could they do Vs sort of
Chris: (Singing) I.I.II
Lastly what is in the Tardis:
Chris: So where is the toilet on the Tardis?
Matt: There are One hundred and a eleven
Chris: No there aren't, you just made that up
Matt:There are One hundred and a eleven and they're all different colours. In each one there is a different...
Chris:( In dalek voice) I WANT A RED TOILET!
Matt: Yeah
Aled: You've got a swimming pool
Matt: I have got a swimming pool, that is true, swimming pool, library, radio station if you ever want to come
Chris: There's not a radio station
Matt: Course there is and it's better than this one
Chris: How rude
Matt: No, no it's not really
