Last night I didn't get the chance to post a Robert Frost poem which inspired the drabble
Some Say the World Will End in Fire, which I wrote for the community
tw100 using the prompt fire and ice. So here it is:
Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire
But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruct in ice
is also great
And would suffice.
I remember studying Robert Frost in high school and really enjoying his poems but I don't think I ever studied this one. Still it's simple and could say that it predicts global warning but that would be silly.
