Denzel

I saw Andy did a Denzel top five awhile back and I meant to do one as well but I did not so here it goes. Mine is quite different that's why I went for it. I would also like to say thanks to everyone here for not flying off the handle and ripping me with my worst fives. You guys are great.

5.The Hurricane - Another Denzel racism movie. Denzel's portrayal as the Hurricane is phenomenal. The way he has given up on life is so real in the movie. You can feel it.

4.Training Day - I tried not to watch this movie, I tried real hard. You see I hate to go see movies that everyone raves about. I go in with such high expectations that I end up not likeing the movie. That did not happen here. Denzel's performance was awe inspriing in this flick.

3.He Got Game - Father son movie by Spike Lee. I love the part where Jesus is destroying his dad on the court like his dad used to do to him and he trash talks him the whole time. A fine performance by Denzel.

2.Fallen - I love serial killer movies. I better watch what I say this could all be monitored and this could make me look weird. I thought this movie was pretty original and very suspenseful. It should have you guessing right to the end.

1.Remember the Titans - I loved this movie. This is by far the best football movie ever made. I also have a thing against racism, it's something I can't stand. This movie shows what I think it was like back then and it does a good job dealing with it. The part where the white guys are not blocking for the black RB in practice and Gerry tells the guy to start blocking or he will run him over, awesome. When Gerry and Julius become best of friends and then...Well I don't want to give it away for those of you who have not seen it. Oh yeah Denzel is great in this. I could talk for hours about this movie. Who doesn't love a feel good movie eh? Huh? I mean really, eh? Am I right?
