We just got back our Sabres game of the year. The team jumped out quickly, but were losing with 20 seconds, looking incredibly uninspired for most of the 3rd period. Then, with 3.9 seconds left, my favorite Sabre, Jason Pominville, tied it up! the place was going nuts. The team eventually won in a shootout, it was a tremendous game. We sat next to this high school girl who was trying all game to get her stupid sign on the jumbo-tron. Most of the time she was holding it up with all of her might, going some strange little hump dance, and getting pissy when they ignored her. She never made it on ;) We parked in the parking garage across from Dunn Tire Park, and the line we were in didn't move a centimeter in 10 minutes. I managed to weasel my way out of the line and into another one, and I was out in 2 minutes. They might still be there. I was worried this was gonna be a sucky game because of the plane crash, but it was an excellent time.
