So we are currently at Jessica's sisters place in Virginia for the weekend. Only 45 minutes for the new year. I don't exactly drink to get drunk anymore, so I decided to tonight, and I have a mild buzz going. I mentioned that to Jess, and she had commented about how old do we need to be before we don't have to worry about being buzzed. I reminded her that it helps me feel young. lol. I've got off til Wednesday so I plan on enjoying that, though we are staying in VA til Monday. I got my fancy new computer. I just started to work on it, so it's still very much a work in process, but it's nice. I also got a "sack of crap" from Woot on Xmas eve, so I cannot wait to see what I got. Of the gifts that I got, two stood out, Jess got me a creme brulee set, and my mom got me a presto pizzazz. When we did our road trip down south, I discovered that I really like creme brulee, so now we can make our own :) The presto pizzazz is a kitchen gadget that is supposed to cook grocery store pizzas in a way that is supposed to rival those from Pizza joints. It's gotten raves, so I am excited to try it out. We had our first Christmas in Buffalo since 2006, it was OK, but I do like doing Christmas stuff with Jessica's side. We officially set a wedding date, June 26th. we are getting married in Chaffee, in the same place my parents got married. As far as where we will move, we've decided to move to North Carolina after we get married, but we haven't settled on either Charlotte, or Raleigh. I'd prefer Charlotte. We are going back down there in March to do some more in depth stuff. I actually had to pay for hotel rooms this time. horror. 2009 is almost over. A lot of people don't think highly of it, but outside of a crappy summer it wasn't that bad for me. Next year we've got my 10 year high school reunion. I'm starting to feel old. By the time this decade is over, we will have gotten married, moved south and started our new life, and I'd have my ten year reunion. crazy stuff.
