So I am 2 for 2 on the shitty day o' meter this week. Not only did today suck, but after work I hopped a curb leaving Rite Aid who didn't have stamps (seriously? is there anything that Rite Aid does that won't piss off the average person?) and I was so drained that I didn't really care when I got charged $10 for a book of stamps elsewhere (overpaid by $1.20), though I was concerned with the kids severe lack of rudimentary math skills. Needless to say, I am most definitely looking forward to a fresh start and am glad I can say that there is less then a year left before that happens.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to reread most of my posts from the first half of this decade (01-06), and I must say even though I'm going through a shaky period at work, which defin. affects my moods, I'm nowhere in the bad shape I was earlier, even with some of the great stories from Dominos, I generally hated it there.

I will say it was interesting going through those posts, which typically alternated between bitching about life and crushing on women. I also was reading about when I almost worked at World Financial Group, until they couldn't get started up, and at one point I said how "I am now a mortgage broker." Of course back then, I really had no idea what that meant, I think if I remember correctly I thought that job would mean giving people who called in advice on what to do with their money, and of course now I am firmly aware of what a mortgage broker, and I find that quite funny in light of what has happened, and where I am now.
