Well, the car is fixed thank goodness and I'm off to Trung's for a chinese with the family, still wishing I was back in Vancouver really - it was so great.  We had the best holiday, even with the enforced extension and it's not easy to get back to normal.

Just got back from the MS walk.  Met Michael and Lexa there.  First time I have met Lexa, she was lovely.  Walked the 5 km - still open for sponsorship as Topazowl (link a few entries below).  Got rather wet.  Now going to spend my last afternoon geocaching before I fly home tomorrow.  There's a gallery of a few pictures I took on the walk but it ( Read more... )

Had a great afternoon finding 8 geocaches around Capilano from our hotel.  Extended vacations are quite fun!! but quite costly

Well, here we are, stranded in Vancouver.  Arctict got home OK but Helster and I are in North Vancouver.  It's raining at the moment but we will get out and about - I can do some more of my latest hobby, geocaching - I am sure there are plenty around here.

We are back in Vancouver after being on the west of V Island, without internet.  Had an absolutely fabulous time in Ucluelet.  Had 5 nights in Terrace Beach Resort in a wonderful 3 storey wooden cabin almost on the beach. Had 4 days of wonderful walks on the very scenic coast and relaxing evenings with the odd episode of SG1.

So I've arrived in Vancouver as has arctict and helster.  We've had a busy Easter weekend with visits to Stanley Park, a walk from Cleveland Dam down the Capilano Valley to below Cable Pool then to to the suspension bridge.  Had a super steak in the Keg later.  Today we went to the Lynn Valley, walked up to and around Rice Lake then went geocaching ( Read more... )
