Last Nights, Todays, Tomorrows
Last night was fun :)
I put on my new shoes, went downtown (it's been a while since I went out on a Thursday), and ran into Samantha, whom I've been playing phone tag with for nearly two months. We hung out from about 11:30 until just after 2:00. I only got about 3 hours of sleep, but it was good sleep--the kind where your head hits the pillow and next thing you know, it's time to wake up.
Toy Shop left immediately after the gig to drive to Asheville, NC, for their first gig at Hannah Flannigan's tonight. Didn't really get a proper goodbye to Jim, but he called after I got home, just before they left, to say goodnight ^_^
So I'm at work... I fully intend on taking a nap during my lunch break. I think I'll take the kitties over to Jim's when I get off work--I need to do some laundry and I gotta feed Sephi regardless, so it'll just be more convenient... not to mention I can shut the cats out while I'm sleeping :P
So, put clothes in and hit the sack for a nap... Sam said she'd call tonight, and an old friend I saw last night in Philby's (before I met up with Sam) is playing with his band at the Klatsch tonight as well. We'll see how I'm feeling if/when I wake up from my nap.
Tomorrow, some folks are putting on a little Kids' Fair at Kalea Park in Meridianville, and I think I'm gonna go, maybe paint a few little faces ^_^ Jim's playing with Marge after they get back from NC, so I'll probably head down there afterwards (hopefully I can successfully avoid any too-close-for-comfort lesbian encounters this time)--Tory's marching band (A&M) is playing at a game Saturday, too, so I might try to catch that.
