MOMENT NUMBER 9: CUCUMBER NIGHT (Summer 2005) with Sammy Esher and Allie Young

This night sort of takes the cake when it comes to random activities on weeknights. During one week, right after "Into the Woods" had finished, Samantha Esher and I were basking and the love of each other (as we had and would continue to do for the entirety of summer) and decided it was time to seek some innocent and harmless revenge on a certain, Samuel L. Swan. It was not soon enough that we found that our notorious duo had become a trio, with the ravishing and fantastic Allie Young. No sooner had we gathered in mess which is Sammy's car, we devised an evil plot to make a late night stop at our victim's house.... but not until we payed a visit to our good old friend: Store 24. At "toof" as many call it, we decided it best to show our vengence in the form of food. After going thru the entire food triangle nutritional thingy, we decided that a "big ass cucumber" would be the best. The cuke was HUGE. By far the largest any of us had ever seen. Although it's size alone was intimidating, we decided to add an extra factor. We desperately rummaged thru Sammy's car until we came upon a pen... After trial and error and critiquing each others artistic capabilities, or rather, incapabilities I became the master designer. I drew an evil looking face with lines just thick enough to be visible and engraved the words "HATE" on the other side. With our perfectly evil cuke we navigated ourselves towards our destination.... the house.. of the mother... of sam. We debated whether to pull a "ring and run" but then just decided to have Allie leave the big ass angry cuke on the back porch and leave a mysterious voicemail from a blocked number. After lots of laughs and large love our evening was over. We dropped Allie back at home and Sammy, after convincing her mom of course, and I went home to my house and snuggled up around the patches of my room that we could find beneath my heaps of clothing. Our mission had gone without fail and we reaped the benefits of our vengence.

This moment truely represents a huge part of who I am. The people I have spent my past 4 years with, espcially Sammy, have taught me that some of the best times come from complete spontanaeity (I really dont care that I cant spell that word AT ALL). From that point on I realized that the most fun times are those which arent planned. Although I enjoy some structure, some days its good to let loose, go crazy, and do something just a little evil :)
