the sea is just a wetter version of the sky.

We went kayaking yesterday. It started raining halfway through so we hid inside the yacht club until it stopped. At this rate, I'm never going to get any work done. All I have to say is: thank goodness for having only two classes on Mondays.

Last time Boyf and I went somewhere, we got into a bit of a pickle. We went down the wrong road, but it was one of those really tight hairpin turns. Tight as in, 1 - 1.5m radius tight. I freaked out a little and realised that backseat driving is, in fact, very annoying.

I am already starting to hate belonging. One of the most common characters that crops up is the migrant/refugee, which I always have trouble writing because it always feels so cliche when I try to write anything about it. One of our assignments for English is to write a creative about this; whilst it can be easier to have a scaffold, it's really hard to make it original with that scaffold.

I still have to find some related texts for our area of study. It's driving me bananas. I want to do a Disney film, and I have a few in mind although I'll have to watch them and pick out some techniques to see if it's a viable option.

I've been working on getting my French Twist technique down but I've had a lot of problems. Since I got my haircut a few weeks ago, I've found it somewhat easier to do it (there's isn't as much hair to fold back) but it's still not perfect.

That's the best one I've done so far (it's quite tight and holds itself well) but I haven't managed to recreate it, although that was when I had longer hair.
