Massive data loss is here again..

Hey hey, it's one of my most favorite things, hard drive death...the one in the new computer.

Holy missing MP3 collection (and a ton of other things) Batman. I'm most heart-broken over the loss of my Silent Hill directory with all that art (mine and other people's), screenshots, wallpaper, movies, etc. On the bright side, I'm pretty sure I have a bunch of data backed up on CDs; on the down-side, those back-ups were made before I left San Diego and they weren't comprehensive.

I should be more upset that lots of useful stuff was lost; it's a blessing that, for the most part, I can't remember exactly what I had transferred over. The sick feeling in the gut is being ameliorated by ignorance. If I'm lucky, I won't realize what I've lost.

This is what I get for moving much my data to the new system as opposed to copying it like any sane person would do.

Time to go hard drive shopping...and get out the big CaseLogic binders.
