GLFRA Meeting and Other Random Things
Well, the meeting was so much fun! Due to lack of a ride, I went and picked up Dayna. Of course, I was running late. :) I took a wrong turn on the way there and had to turn around, making me even later. We got back to my place at 2pm, played with ratties and went on to the park. Tony got there really early. We chatted so much and had a great time. Of course, we played with ratties. Since it was just us 3 ratteries there, we exchanged our rats at the meeting. Or as Gabby would say 'our rat swap'. LOL! I got my super cute little ones from Tony. I have a new blue berk/irish dumbo teddy rex doe and a RED based platinum dumbo buck. Both are ultra cute. I've gotta think of some names but I was thinking about going with a liquor theme or something. Since their grandma(?) was Baby Kahlua, it just kinda fits. I've gotta go through my list of names and see what fits them.
Got to see Darren on Friday night after he went to the Lazy American Workers concert at Mac's Bar. He brought me a demo disk of theirs, a lighter and a cool shot glass. :) We ended up listening to some music. He brought me some cd's with a bunch of MP3's on them. I have about 500 new ones now. Mostly death, black and doom metal. It's pretty sweet. I've been slowly listening to them. It's gonna take me a long time! We made plans to go to Ozzfest on August 21st and possibly go to see Clutch on July 30/31st. I'm probably going to his house this weekend. Should be fun. :) I have yet to tell the parents about him but told my brother and his girlfriend. I dont' want to get ahead of myself. I really hope things work out between us. He makes me so happy. I feel really good when I'm with him.
I'm really hoping that my girls get pregnant soon. I want all my litters to be done so I can take a bit of a break. I really want my numbers down to around 50. I'm close, but not quite there yet. I really need to update my website and get some new pics taken of the rats. I've been slacking on that. Dayna did take some great pics of Roadhouse Blues for me. :)
I think I might work on some of my quilt squares tonight. I really hope to get that done by Christmas. Since it's all handmade, it's gonna take quite a while. Should be nice when it's done though. We'll see. Well, I guess that's all for now. I'm gonna watch some Simpsons and quilt.
