Notes: Four short Criminal Minds/X-Men crossovers...X-Men = general fandom, not a specific version. First was written for a prompt from a comment fic I did, the others just popped in my head...had a TON of fun with this though, haha! I hope you enjoy them, haha! :D
The two women stared, glared, at each other, neither willing to make a move or break eye contact first.
“What, uh…what are they doing?” Dr Reid questioned as he pushed up his glasses for the third time.
Gideon’s lips quirked a touch. “I couldn’t say.”
“You don’t know?”
“Nope.” It was a first and, for the moment, it delighted the eldest of the group. As a telepath it was not everyday he couldn’t read a mind. And Emily…well it seemed she might be manifesting a new power granted through her mutation right before their very eyes.
Emma glittered to the side in her diamond form.
Emily followed suit, matched the other step for step.
“You’re oh so…” Emma cooed out.
“Frosty?” the other woman offered in drawl.
The White Queen gave a small chuckle. “Yes. I can’t read you at all.” It was a curious thing indeed. Very few were able to guard against her telepathy, Emma could count them on one hand…well maybe two now.
“Shame, I guess you won’t see it coming then.”
“What?”
Gideon watched without reaction as curiosity and a brief lapse in readiness lead Ms Frost to return to her normal state. He looked back to Garcia as she stood beside Dr Reid and gave a nod. It was time.
Clouds that’d slowly been rolling in and piling up on each other grew dark, thick and heavy with water, before they released over the mutants. Emily could only control the water so well as she kept her mind closed; only those under Garcia’s protection and Emily herself were left unharmed while rain released at a flesh-searing boil.

Aaron rubbed his forehead as the lights in the library flickered. His mid-term for US Constitutional Law: Theory and Practice was in less than two hours and he didn’t feel anywhere near prepared. He couldn’t concentrate with the lights how they were and the more frustrated he got the worse the lights became…it was like a vicious circle.
Aaron felt his pencil being pulled from him by the top end, he swore he heard the metal binding between lead and eraser creak. The young man held it tighter, determined not to let go, before the writing utensil flew out so quickly it left a burning sensation in his palm. He looked up and sighed. “Erik, I’m studying.”
Erik Lensherr sat opposite his friend with a small smile. “You’re bringing it on yourself, you know that?”
“What do you mean?”
The lights flicked off, Erik drew Aaron’s gaze up, and the lights turned back on with Aaron’s reluctant sigh. “Your denial never ceases to amaze, Aaron.”
“I’m not doing it,” Aaron muttered, trying to remain calm and quiet.
Erik let the pencil slowly spin between them. “No? What about that TV you didn’t blow up a few weeks back.”
“I…I must’ve just…had something in my hand that I accidentally threw at the TV.”
Erik gave a laugh.
“Shh!” Aaron insisted before he glared and then reached for the floating pencil. “And will you knock that off?!”
The light above the two men sparked as it burst with a startling pop.

George flipped her on her back and set his hand firmly against her stomach, pressed in with a groin-based moan.
She arched up with a shriek as her flesh, the tissue and muscle underneath, split open as if sliced. Her nails grew into the base of his skull in fight-instinct. “Ok…enough…let go.” It was the third time he’d pulled her apart, any more and she worried she wouldn’t be able to heal.
“Thought this was supposed to be a challenge?” He growled a mock at her request as he twisted his hand, widening the wound, and leaned down to steal a kiss from her parted blood-colored lips.
“Foyet enough!” Mystique nearly roared as she pulled his head back and pressed her weight up to force him under. Blood that’d been pooling under his hand began seep out, trickle down his wrist and leak from around his fingers. His stomach muscles tightened as droplets splashed onto his body.
George smiled. “You’re beautiful, Raven.”
The woman’s skin rippled to its original form and George slowly slid out the psychic knife. He felt the soft ribbing on otherwise smooth blue scales where those gaping wounds he'd made had been not moments before. The blood on his hands tinted her exposed body a royal purple; he rubbed his way up her chest to spread the coloring.
“Enough practice and foreplay, George.” Raven smirked out before she yanked him up by the back of his neck to slam her lips to his.

David smiled over at his date. “So, Erin, did you enjoy the restaurant?”
“I enjoyed the wine.”
“Can’t catch a break with you, can I?”
Erin laughed. “If I gave you that, you’d take advantage of it.”
“Think so?”
“Know so,” she smirked back at the man as they crossed the parking lot towards his car.
There was a snarl, like that of a wild animal, that caused the couple to stop. Before either had a chance to confirm what they heard to the other a man of compact build and predatory stance stepped out from between two cars. “Hello…Erin.” He didn’t speak, he growled as he stalked towards them.
“Logan, I don’t want any trouble.”
“Too bad, ‘cause ya got it.”
David stepped forward. “Hey, how about you just...take a hike?”
“You stay outta this, bub,” Wolverine barked with a shinking release of his claws. “This is between me and lady.”
“JesusfuckingChrist,” David gasped as he stepped back, pulling Erin with him. “You’re…you’re a…” mutant.
Erin never blinked, her eyes just narrowed. “You sure you want to start something you can’t finish?”
“Who says I can’t finish?” Wolverine vaulted forward, both claws at the ready, and knocked the woman into the pavement so that it cracked under them.
“Erin!” David moved to Logan to save his damsel, but only got slashed across the arm for his troubles.
The woman took the opportunity to grab at the blades of Wolverine's other claw as it gashed across her chest. Erin's hand seemed to smoke while the claw turned red, then orange. Logan gave a grunt and he began to shake and sweat. Erin's hand burst into open flames that quickly spread up and over her body. As the fire set to the woman's hair the adamantium went from yellow to white hot. Erin lifted herself up with a scorching hand as the other mutant howled in pain.
David felt the ground grow warm and soft under his feet. He looked from his wounds to his date, now a brilliant flaming body, holding the super-heated claws of her (now kneeling) former attacker.
“You’re ruining my date, Logan,” Erin’s voice crackled as if it, too, were made of flames. “Now how about we both put the past behind us and move on, hm?”
Logan swore he could feel his brain starting to fry within his metal skull, his healing powers unable to keep up. “F-Fine.” He wouldn't fold, but he'd concede so he could live to fight another day.
Erin let go and Logan crumpled. “Good boy.” The flames of her body slowly fizzled out leaving just steam and a sheen of sweat as if she’d gone for a long jog on a winter's night. “David?” she turned to the stunned man with the bloody arm. “Oh, you’re hurt! Come on, let’s get you to a hospital,” she rushed over.
David stayed, too stunned to move. As she went to put gentle pressure on his wound all he could do was comment. “So…that’s why I always feel hot around you.”
Erin laughed.
