I have told my mum on no less than 4 occasions (and probably more) that I am allergic to biological washing powder. I even spotted that she’d bought a box, and asked her NOT to mix it with the massive box of non-bio powder we have by the washing machine (that was about a month ago).
Now I’m finding out the hard way that she ignored me/forgot -

That's awful! I'm allergic to Tide laundry soap, and I had the same reaction to it as you do. Iiiiiick! Feel better soon! <3

I am so glad that a) I've started doing my own laundry and b) I'm not allergic to any washing powders (long, rather sharp nails + itchy bare skin = bloody scratches everywhere, DNW)

I hope it clears up soon and you get the laundry issue sorted out D:

I do my own laundry - they've gone away on holiday and she neglected to inform me about the mixing, so I did my laundry as usual and this happened :(

I wash my own laundry as well but occasionally I'll throw a shirt or two of my mom's in my wash and then as I put them in the dryer, she'll go behind me and put in a dryer sheet which makes me itch like mad! omg and she doesn't seemed phased by this either =(

What does a dryer sheet do? I've never used one. Poor you :(

Oh lawd! I have eczema, too, so I definitely feel your pain! Tide (and stress and weather) causes my skin to do what yours is right now. *sends you non-itchy wishes!*

I have some lovely pics I may have posted before of an allergic reaction my legs had to some grass, and cortisone cream... if I can't find them in an entry, I may post again. They're awful!
