First and foremost, I would like to thank those of you that came to yesterday's meeting. Especially Prydain. For the record, you were invited to give you that voice you are always complaining about not having, and I am grateful for your input. Also, I wanted to know if you have electricity and water up there at your residence--if not, I would like to get it to you.
Time to--to...I think the phrase is "bury the hatchet." I am done fighting with you, and Torn is not here to do the same anymore. If you ever need any help, with anything at all, just let me know. I doubt you will, you are fairly self-sufficient up there, but...most anything I can do to make things clear between us, I would like to do. I was already sick of everything I said being taken as an insult, considering what is happening here I would rather not that get any worse.
So, do you need power? Water? Another basket of apples? Let me know.
As for those of you playing dumb and acting shocked at the fact that we had some semblance of an authority figure here before yesterday, do me a favor and just...just shut up, all right? Everyone here knows what Torn did for this city, and while he was not the king that Prydain likes to play at him being, he was a leader. Just as much as Sora, or Harry, or anyone else who has done anything to help here. Only he did things large-scale, for the city as a whole instead of one select building. He organized and helped with the building of the wall. He is one of the two that stood on the school roof and shot down chimeras so people could get to safety. He is the one that organized the different teams, the inventory, the first proper map we had, the one that died telling everyone to get off the roof of Marshall during the Reaver attack, that put together the town meeting, that--
[Deep breath, exhaled in a heavy sigh.]
He helped with everything, and I know a good portion of people here did see him as a leader. For so many people to suddenly act like he never existed now that he is gone...quite frankly, it makes me sick. For so many to suddenly forget everything he did here is--it is--
Makers, I don't even have words for how twisted and horrible that is. There's a difference between taking care of yourself and acting like no one has ever helped you, and I think a good deal of you need to learn it.
See, this is one case where most of those at Gohl have a right to act like nothing has happened--they have their leader in Prydain, they're more or less independent from the rest of Discedo. They take care of themselves. The rest of you--especially those living at the High School--have no right.
Perhaps you're happy to see him go. If that's the case, then just say so, and stop this passive-aggressive bullshit.
...Probably not making a good impression, am I? Oh well. Some of you lost a thorn in your sides, some of you lost a role model, some of you lost a rival or a colleague or any number of things. I just lost one of the only friends I've ever had.
