This is the coolest place to live. There will always be a special place in my heart for NJ/NYC, but PDX is home. The big town I remember from my childhood is now a bona fide City, and even though some of the changes are weird to me, I'm trying not to fight them...
"Coming Out"
One of the best decisions I've ever made in my life was dropping my phone sex pseudonym (ciao, Donna Dione Hill) and model alias. Getting to just be myself has been liberating and invigorating. And hearing a guy scream my name when he cums is the most incredible turn-on...Mmmm!

Thanks to this foodie forum board, I've been turned on to a whole slew of excellent eats. In the few years I was away, restaurants like Biwa, Pok Pok, Toro Bravo, Sel Gris, and Le Pigeon have turned Portland into a gastro-tourism destination worthy of notice by the likes of the NY Times and the Food Network. Now if only someone would open a Chilean restaurant, I'd be in heaven...

If you want a real feel-good tale, this guy is it. Check out this video (or search the net for others) and prepare to be blown away. The guy was a salesman in a cell phone store before winning Britain's Got Talent with his unbelievable singing. Truly amazing story.

Both the movie and the soundtrack are amazing. Simple. Genuine. Incredible performances from the two lead actors, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. This is the movie I wish I'd been in this year.
Miss Buffy Gigantico
Buffy arrived in our household and immediately made her unique presence felt by all. We have the love bites and scratches to prove it! She is quite the inquisitive huntress-in-training, and I think Gollum enjoys having a protege. I miss my sweet Vinnie, but I know he is up there in kitty heaven smiling down on us.
Flight of the Conchords
I'm diggin' Heroes and looking forward to new episodes of Lost and The L Word...But Flight of the Conchords was the best thing on my television in the past year. If you can sit through an episode of this show and not laugh out loud, you should have your pulse checked.
So that's it...There are lots more things I could write about, but we have reservations at Castagna tonight to celebrate New Year's Eve and a girl has to get gussied up for that! *wink* I'll be around later, so if you want to ring in 2008 with a sizzling phone sex call, check for me tonight after 10pm Pacific...
