So the math test I had was actually more simple than I had anticipated. She'd said we'd do problems with continuous compounding, but there was no such thing. She said we'd do a problem with moments of center of mass, but there was no such thing. So you get the idea about things she said. ^I'm pretty sure he's talking hypothetically. If not I say we sneak into his house and KILL him. Actually, that sounds fun, let's do that anyways.

I don't exactly remember what the work-energy theorem is, but if it is what I think it is, then it is indeed a powerful statement. A varient on it is the first law of thermodynamics, I believe. Actually, in the end almost all physics boils down to F=ma, but it's obviously more useful to use less generalized ideas.

Pretty much all of classical mechanics, and even some modern physics. You can use it to derive all sorts of stuff, like the ideal gas law and gravity.
