Nuns
So my Mom texts me early this morning from Church to tell me that 2 nuns apparently showed up at our Mass. And not just in the weird hat cover ups, but in full nun outfits! Our regular Priest is recovering from brain surgery, and the dude we have does lots of work in the Philipines and that's apparently where the nuns were from. My Mom said they sang a lovely song during the Mass. Even though I was sleepy I was still jealous. Of course this happens the week after I leave for college.
This evening I called my Grandma to let her know how my first week back at school went and complained about missing the nuns (should Nuns be capitalized??) and my Grandma informs me that a pair of nuns live in her apartment area and next time I'm visiting my Grandma (in PA) we will go visit the nuns. I told her I would hold her to this. Hopefully the nuns will still be there next summer when my family and I usually do our vacation to PA to meet with the family.
