March plants

*The Christmas cactus has big buds. They are dark pink in colour. Perhaps it's an Easter cactus after all.
*Took some cuttings from the lipstick plant and put them in water to root.
*Then I have three little pomegranate seedlings out of six seeds sown.
*One Aftican violet has died because of too little water. No sense in trying to save it.
*The cardamom looks kind of tired.

I note that I'm not striving towards traditional beauty (or ways?) with my plants on the windowsills. For example, my two African violets exhibit a visible stem because I've let them grow without propagating new plants and ditcing the old ones. Similarly, I don't keep the lipstick plant small and tidy, it has longish shoots hanging from the pot. Then I kept the kalanchoë, only trimmed dead flowers and old leaves.

There should be a new plant/garden store called Plantagen (a Nordic-wide chain) opening in Jyväskylä later this month. Well, I'm sort of guessing as the neighbouring harware store will be opening in nine days.

Board games later today. I wonder if I should take a bigger bag to carry the games with. That way I take keep three games with me. Would it be worth the effort? Perhaps I could attach the bigger bag to the bicycle with elastic straps. My bag of holding (=my backpack) isn't infinite.
