He wasn’t in this alone.-
“I want to start a band.”-

Frank stared. “What did you say?”-
“You are such a romantic.”-
Bad idea if you’re immortal. -
Was no one else worried?-
Ray watched Gerard.-
How could he have?-
“You know, she has brown eyes.”-
Frank frowned, how had he known?-
Tell me, what were the dinosaurs like?-
“Eunuchs, poor bastards.” -
“Don’t I look pretty walking down the street?”-
He was straight goddamnit!-
He’d wet his pants. -
“Speak in your head sweetie.”-
Straight like a line.-
“He’s going to die.”-
“I am the original vampire after all.”-
“Don’t ask.”-
The pumpkin had Frank’s face.-
“I just can’t see my life without you.”-

“Gee, I’m sorry.”-
It slammed shut after him.-
Gerard, I love you.-
“Can you hear me?”-
“Gerard! We’re in public!”-
“What is it?”-
“Of course he’s an oddity, he’s Gerard.”-
Plan Fuck Gerard.-
“Damn Frankie, I’ve missed you.”-
Patrick just laughed.-
“Ice cream?”-
“I don’t want to lose you Frank.”-
The little arsehole drugged him!-
“Who could resist little old me?”-
It's worse than that-
Come back brain.-
“Please?”-
Gerard couldn’t loose Frank again. Mikey stared in horror as the knife flew and he was going to be too late.
Gerard’s hand shot out and the blade stopped, blood gushing to the floor. Mikey grabbed Frank and pulled him into the bathroom with Ray, Brian and Pete, throwing a towel at the man, glad that for once the hotel owners had opted for deep red instead of white towels.
On the other side of the door Gerard pulled the blade from his wrist, feeling everything mending with great effort. “Why Matt? Why the fuck would you do this?” He looked down at it, frowning as a scar remained in place.
Matt glared, “because you are fucking disgusting, I hate you. You think you’re so good, just because you’re invulnerable!”
“No, I don’t.”
“No?” Matt snorted. “Of course you do. You are immortal, no fear of dying. I have no fear either.”
Gerard threw both the knives to the ground as Patrick moved to subdue Matt. The shook his head in disappointment, tears welling to his eyes. “I do fear dying, I fear those I love dying, I fear being alone. I fear dying alone. But then not being afraid, that’s just stupid.”
In the bathroom Frank’s entire body shook as he stood carefully and walked to the door, he moved to push it open but Mikey stopped him.
“Gerard’s out there!”
Mikey nodded. “And he is less likely to be hurt if you aren’t there.”
Frank growled, pushing Mikey back against the door. “He already is fucking well hurt you moron!”
Gerard stared at Matt intensely for a moment before moving to the seat and his clothes, picking up his towel on the way. He wiped off his blood and dressed.
“Hey? Brian?”
Inside the bathroom Brian looked up. “Yes?”
“Listen I was wondering if you can get Bob on the phone? Ask him if he wants to play drums in My Chem, because the position is now vacant.”
Gerard grabbed Matt’s shoulder and steered him into the hotel room chair. He pushed him down into it, holding him down while he tried breathing deeply. “I thought you were my friend Matt.”
Matt glared back. “You thought wrong.”
Patrick walked over to stand by Gerard’s shoulder. “We need to keep him away from our loved ones.”
“Don’t you mean your victims?”
Suddenly there was a bang in the bathroom followed by an “OW!” and then the bathroom door opened and a still naked Frank flew out. He paused for only a second before flying at Gerard. He instantly searched for injuries, staring at the scar on the inside of his wrist before kissing it and pulling Gerard close. “You’re okay.” He breathed into the older man’s hair.
Patrick cleared his throat. “Frank, put on some clothes, please?”
Frank looked up at Patrick, blinking slowly. He then looked down at himself. “Oh.” He jumped up and went for his jeans. “Sorry.”
Gerard smiled softly as he watched Frank’s antics. He looked back at Matt. “Would your girlfriend do that Matt? Would she forget that she was naked for you?”
Matt frowned, eyes flickering between them before settling on Gerard.
“She wouldn’t, would she?”
Matt was so intent on Gerard that he didn’t see any of the people scrambling out of the bathroom.
Or see Mikey cradling his head.
Or Brian on the phone.
Or Frank’s fist flying towards his head.
He was on the ground in a second, which was all the time Frank needed to move to him and begin kicking.
Gerard pulled him away as Frank spat on him.
Gerard helped him back into his seat. “How did you find out?”
Matt spit out blood. “Katherine had these files on you two. I went over there one day and she had to go do something. I read them. There was a number, I rang it. Turns out Katherine abandoned ship, I took over. They explained what you are, filth.”
Gerard grabbed Frank’s fist as it again began its collision course with Matt’s head. “Frank, I’m alright.”
Frank glared at Matt before sliding onto the bed behind Gerard, lifting up his shirt for a closer inspection of Gerard’s back. He growled, realizing that the shirt didn’t have enough give and forced Gerard to take it off completely.
Gerard rolled his eyes but leant back, clearly enjoying the attention.
Patrick sighed. “So what are we going to do with him?”
Gerard shrugged. “Let him go.”
“But…”
The hotel room door was flung open and a large figure came rushing into the room. Everyone started and turned, to see that it was only Bob. He rushed over and picked up Matt, throwing him over his shoulder and rushing towards the window, struggling to open it.
“Um… Bob? What are you doing?”
Gerard placed himself between Bob and the window.
“He hurt Frankie.”
Gerard shook his head. “No. He tried but failed.”
“Doesn’t matter, I’ll kill him.”
Gerard held up his hands. “No. You do not want that on your conscience. Go and make sure Georgia doesn’t come in.”
“Why?”
Gerard took Matt and sighed. “Because she will kill him.” He turned slowly, leading Matt back to the seat. “Look, we were friends and you didn’t do any real harm, so I’m not going to try and silence you permanently, but if you even think of telling anyone or harming any of us ever again, I won’t be able to do anything to save you. Okay?”
Matt nodded. Gerard sighed, closing his eyes. “Get out, before I change my mind.”
Next.
