MOUNT ETNA PEEKTURES
HI.
This is driving up the mountains. Apparently these wildflowers thrive in volcanic soil. Wee.
PS- i hiked all of this while taking pictures, except everytime there's a glass reflection or something, it was taken from the vehicle/SUV thing.
Wow, that sentence made NO sense whatsoever.
There's 25 small craters on the mountain. This is one of them. As you can see, there's steam and weird fumes coming out.
I'm a freaking dumbass so I didn't keep any of these really cool rocks. mineralssss
Talk about creepy!
The trees are leafless but not burned because last time the volcano erupted, it spewed rocks EVERYWHERE, so the trees basically were stoned so all the leaves broke off, but that section of trees was not burned. They add to the atmosphere.

there's the very peak of the volcano-- the main crater from which it erupted back in 2002. we couldn't go ALL the way up there, but pretty damn close.
And there were ENORMOUS slabs of ice everywhere. I wore shorts. :)
And then the sun started to set!

Okay, so I really want to get at least ONE of these pictures blown up at the almighty HEB, but i'm having trouble deciding which one, so if you guys can tell me which one you like best, that'd be super fantastic.
