Am I a part of the cure; or am I part of the disease?

To answer a silly question, more for my mother's sake. Im still not gay. Facial hair and/or the slightest coarse fiber of stubble are a major turn-off to my lips. I like a soft, sometimes smaller mouth reciprocating the silent spoken word. I also like to stop and smell the flowers.

Clay Aiken, on the other hand, seems to be considerably less discerning.

In other news:

1. I have still not gotten over how good the lostprophets version of "Cry Me A River" is. There's a guitar solo in the middle that is just stunning.

2. Having watched a grand total of one week of Rock Star: Supernova, I am slowly beginning to get hold of performances from the show (at my mother's behest, no less). I also have Dilana's 2000 album Wonderfool, and it is actually quite impressive. Given that I've been on this rock trip for the last couple of days (I quite like the rasp I've developed the ability to acquire when I sing), it's a good thing I got it when I did.

3. The reason some of you might get seriously delayed comments from me in the near future is because I am a week behind on my friends list and am desperately trying to read three hundred-odd entries and do all my pending work stat. I am currently functioning on very little sleep and I have a killer week ahead of me. Le sigh. How do I do these things to myself?

4. An extraordinarily happy birthday to markii187. May Martha Stewart never come within three hundred miles of you. *grin*
