Oi! There's a war going on!

I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows two nights ago at like, one in the morning. Bad idea, since I couldn't get to sleep for another hour, lol. Since the book came out, I've been staying overnight at my friend's house (I think I was there for just under a week) where we read it out loud with her family, which was actually a lot of fun. I haven't finished it yet, so I haven't read your take on it, but that sounds cool about reading it with your friends family. =]

I completely agree! It was a bit of a bloodbath, but I think I was expecting something like that to happen. I can't believe she killed Hedwig! And Dobby! So sad!
It really was hard to put down. It took me longer to read because doing it aloud with friends takes a while, but once I got home, I finished the last 6 or 7 chapters all at once.
It really was a brilliant book, it's impossible not to feel a million emotions throughout the story: Fear, grief, total euphoria, anger, frustration, laugh-your-bum-off hilarity and complete sadness. In my humble opinion, one of the Best. Books. Ever.
