The Miley Cyrus magazine photo isn't the scary part. THE LITTLE GIRL ON THE DISNEY BILLBOARD IS. O_____O Yes, there's a picture of it.
Also, does anyone know about the "devil's chord"? It's this diminshed fifth that you hear with the violin tuning up in Danse Macabre. This chord I think I've also heard play in the song Danse of Death in the Utena OST, also played with a violin repeatedly. It would make a lot of sense, and makes me appreciate more when a composer is clever in his musical references.
Oh, and I'm officially a total dork. I was playing around with a program called Minitab, which is a statistics program, and I decided to test it out by making a bar graph of the populations given of the towns in Auldrant, the world of Tales of the Abyss. (It's canon data; it's listed in the game in the libraries of the various towns.)

I've also started volunteering at Distributed Proofreaders, where I'm looking over digitizations of books that aren't copyrighted anymore and generally putting my tendency to be anal about typos and formatting to great use. XD It's kinda fun.
As well, I discovered another facet (...no pun intended, as you'll later see XD;; ) of Caras's name. There's the somewhat obvious similar sound to karasu, crow, but suspecting it just might have a different meaning in a different language I popped it through Babelfish. And it looks like in Spanish or Porteguese "caras" means "faces" or "sides" (like of a cube). "Cara" is the singular form, so that would make the name decidedly the plural. That's really interesting, since in a sense Caras could be thought to have more than one side to him in certain ways (haha, spoiler-saving vagueness XP ). If you contrast it to what his name sounds like it becomes interesting indeed I think. (Plus, I've always thought Caras even *looked* kind of Spanish or somesuch. XD )

I was kind of hoping it would actually be more surprising, but I guess it was that clear of a choice. XP It must fit then; I'm not necessarily out there as a character but trying to be more observant. Yet I'm still involved in it, trying to use my knowledge outside of the fray to stop things from going haywire. Well, when I'm not stressed out or losing my patience. XD;;
