Shitty.
So, today is totally shitty. I went to court and it sucked. I am now on house arrest for six months. I had the option of that or 60-days in SCI. I think I'm going to take the 60-days and then go on level-2 probation for a year. That'd be super easy. If I disappear for a bit, that is where I'll be. I did, however, write a pretty neat poem yesterday.
the passing of a day
While exchanging a glare only they know best,
"We live our lives like an echo"; he said,
"Just a long dull fade of identical movements"
The look on her face revealed her confusion
Killing the silence with a staccato burst of sobs,
he once again looked towards her.
"You seem surprised. We've known it all along, it
was just a matter of putting it into words" he finished
"No", she replied, "this is not living. This is simply
the passing of a day."
"I can longer be another stitch in the day. Don't let this
be living for me. Let's drift into nothingness with dignity"
