Heatwave broke...
At least for a little while. This past week of consecutive 100+ days was just miserable... for everyone. At least 15 died, and power kept going out for people too... not to mention power related fires... fuckin ratty system. Got Ameren's bill too and very grudgingly(sp) paid it. I still feel the fuckin bastards owe me... especially since I spent $162 at the grocer this morning. It put a dent in restocking what I lost, but the fridge still looks bare to me. I guess it will until I get it back to what it was. At least there's real food in it now and I don't have to survive on freakin canned crap anymore. Canned goods are fine, but you tire of them very quickly... oh well, gotta do what ya gotta do I guess.
Mac sent me enough Cher on DVD (which I got a kick out of) to last a lifetime, so if I get anymore Cher I'm gonna have a hissy ;D
Been watching `So you think you can dance` on the tube, and am happy that Travis (who is just cute as a bug) is still in the running... he's in the final four. Benjy will probably win it though, they gush too much over him, so you kinda get the drift of where its gonna go... even though Travis is really the better dancer. We'll see.
On Big Brother... Janelle is still a bitch, James is still cute ;P, Howie is still in never-never land somewhere, and Maurice is still a snake.. ha ha :D
