Fun fact... The sweet Queen of nuts -the Cashew- and why you will never buy it in the shell in the grocery:
The gray/brown cashew nut hangs like a nose at the end of the cashew apple. The nut shell is 1-1/2 inches long and kidney shaped. The nut is found on the end closest to the cashew apple. The other end is honeycombed with cells. These cells contain a toxic resinous fluid called cardol that blisters the mouth. For many years, the cashew was referred to as the blister nut.
Added Eric (
planetconcrete) back to my friends list. Am I still pissed off at him, sure, but I can't see trashing a 6 year friendship over a book... and thanks to
art have now. So since I have it I might as well read the damn thing... well I will sooner or later... I haven't touched it since I got it. Besides, with my days getting darker I don't need to be losing people I've called `friend` for years.
Things haven't been very good here lately either... unsteady on my feet, loss of appetite, etc. This might be due to the Diflucan doc put me on, so I won't say more until I talk to him... I know I was doing a whole lot better before it though.
Bout it I guess, just a little note to say that I'm still around. TA!
